During the sessions themselves I have felt immense benefit -with a muscle spasm finally released, and huge shifts of energy that usually put me to sleep. The moxibustion and skilled massage are a great bonus at the end of the session.
Truly an acupuncture session with Anne is the most relaxing I've ever experienced. Every time I feel pain-free, and amazingly vibrant and light. I highly recommend her treatment.

~ I saw Anne Perkins for acupuncture and had a very positive and healing experience. Her needling is quick, precise, and less painful than I have experienced in the past. She also offered my some bodywork on my knees which was soothing and much needed.
She has a very wise, down to earth and and competent way about her which is what I want from a holistic practitioner. Her treatment room is very welcoming too, which is important to me.
And... her center is 2 doors away from a pet product shop with a wonderful pooch who will snap at your nose!

~ I've seen many acupuncturists over the years as I've been dealing with some chronic pain and inflammation due to a joint condition. I don't know that in all my years of acupuncture treatments from at least 6 other practitioners, that I've ever experience pain relief as immediate or profound as I had after my first treatment with Anne. The chronic contraction / holding that I experienced just disappeared!
I felt so deeply relaxed in the session! It was so healing both physically and emotionally.
I am a dancer and also a tough cookie who keeps on moving despite the pain, so I don't always notice the pain level I'm in ... I tend to notice more that I feel better doing things that I would otherwise feel too stiff to be able to do. After my session with Anne, I danced in high heels for the first time in *years*! I mean, WOW! Huge huge shift in how I felt in my body! And it stayed that way for a few weeks! Since I have a pretty intense chronic condition, I don't expect it to disappear instantly after one session, and I know that the deepest healing builds organically over time. But it's nice to feel immediate and dramatic pain relief! I've had a lot of alternative treatments and seen a lot of bodyworkers and healers and it is indeed rare to feel such a dramatic shift after just one session.
And it's time for me to come back for another session now :)

~ Anne's acupuncture practice gets the highest marks from me! I went in with neck pain, and after a couple of sessions with Anne the pain was gone. I am so grateful to her and so amazed by her skill.
She conducted a thorough intake, covering all bases of what ailed me, and was able to hone in on exactly what treatment to provide. My sessions were wonderfully healing. There was soft meditation music, a warm blanket--it's no wonder I was able to relax deeply and wake up energized.
Anne is knowledgeable, caring and knows her stuff. Her office is the kind of place that exudes healing and peace, and that's exactly what I felt when I was there. I'll definitely be back for more.

~ An excellent, excellent experience. As a relative newbie, choosing an acupuncture specialist is intimidating, but Anne not only took time to answer all of my questions, but her amazing and thoughtful treatment made my first visit an excellent experience. She follows best practices in maintaining a clean environment, used sterile disposable needles, could answer insurance questions, etc. However, that's not to say that the environment felt clinical... the treatment room was as comfortable and relaxing as being in the massage room at a place like Kabuki (minus the fancy decorating!).

~ Anne is one of the most accurate acupuncturists I have been to in my life! She knows precisely where to place the needles, it's incredible! And...you can hardly even feel the needles (for those of you who are needle-phobic).
In my last treatment, I had fallen ill with a cold and called her the day before to cancel (I didn't want to spread my germs). She said, "No, No, do come in, don't cancel, acupuncture will help you!". Well, it did! I was only sick for a few more days! Also, I had been having 'issues' with my hand from overwork due to hand-sewing, she put in one needle and I swear she had already hooked up the electricity (but she didn't). She's that good, kids. Go see her, she is Amazing!
